Seventh Annual Smithfield 5k Hog Jog and Walk
The 7th Annual Smithfield 5K Hog Jog and Walk began at 9 am in downtown Smithfield, followed by an awards ceremony and post-race party. Door prizes were also raffled off at the party. The proceeds for this event benefit the Isle of Wight Christian Outreach Program (C.O.P.).
Carrollton residents Tracy Hockett and her children, Peyton Halley, left, and Shelby, participated in the Hog Jog and Walk.
Katy and Roger Lorince along with their dog, Olive, of Chesapeake participated in Smithfield's Hog Jog and Walk.
Marti McCorkhill of Hamburg, New York, left, and Corinne Sims of Suffolk participated in the race and the "Best Dressed Piggy" category.
